Does it seem to take forever to blow dry your hair? It does for me. I hate washing my hair because then I have to dry it!
Here are some steps to follow to speed up the blow drying process:
Squeeze
Use your hands to squeeze the water out of your just washed hair.
Wrap
Wrap your hair in a towel while you dry off and apply your body lotion. The towel will soak up some of the water in your hair. You may like to try a micro fiber towel. The micro fiber absorbs water from your hair fast!
Comb
Remove towel and comb out your hair with a wide tooth comb. You can also try a brush with microfiber bristles.
Wrap Again
Wrap your hair in a towel again for 15 minutes to soak up more water.
Styling Product
Apply a styling product designed to speedup drying time. Paul Mitchell Super Skinny products displace water and constrict the hair for faster drying.
Dry in sections
This is the best way to dry your hair.
Put your hair up with a big clip or two.
Take down a 2 inch section of hair at the back of your head and blow it dry using an ionic blow dryer and a styling brush. Take down another 2 inch section and blow dry it.
Continue drying section by section. It may sound like a hassle but drying hair section by section will speed up the drying process and give you a more controlled smoother style.
