The summer sun can cause your knees to get too dark and dry!
This happen to me all the time!
Help lighten them by using a pumice stone to gently slough away dead skin. If you are at the beach, apply a little oil to your knees, then massage them with sand. Rinse and apply SPF 50.
You can try using an exfoliating lotion such as CeraVe SA Renewing Lotion to continue the exfoliation and to moisturize. Find CeraVe at drugstores including CVS and Walgreens.
You can also try a skin lightening treatment at night. Skin lightening spot treatments helps to lighten dark areas of the skin. Look for products with natural lightening ingredients such as kakadu plum extract, azelaic acid, kojic acid and citrus unshiu peel extract.
