Mini Vases from Nail Polish Bottles

Look at these adorable little vases! 

They are made from empty nail polish bottles. How cool is that? I go through nail polish at the salon like crazy. This is a great way to upcycle empty nail polish bottles.

Whatever nail old polish is left in the nail polish bottle can be poured out on newspaper or a paper towel, allowed to dry and then disposed of.


Pour some acetone into the bottle to remove the remnants of nail polish. 

Now, the bottle are ready to turn into a cute little vase using spray paint and yarn, twine or embroidery thread. 

I think the nail polish bottles that have peel off labels will come out the best.

White Bumps Under Eyes: Milia

Have you noticed that you have little white looking bumps under your eyes? Some people call it chicken skin because the bumps look like plucked chicken skin. 🐔 Most likely those little white bumps are milia. They can feel hard or pearly. These bumps are not acne. Milia can occur when dead skin cells become trapped beneath the outer layer of skin. Keratin becomes trapped and builds up. A small benign cyst can form which is the milia. It's a cyst!?! Don't let that word scare you. They are harmless, but unwanted bumps.  They can occur on any area of the skin that tends to be on the dry side. Dermatofibromas

I have this brown bump on my leg that won't go away. What can I do about it? A. It could be a dermatofibroma. I see them often on my leg waxing clients. A dermatofibroma is a tan to brown benign raised bump more common in women than men and occur commonly on the legs. The bump feels hard under the skin and can be itchy, tender and easily irritated. A doctor will tell you not to worry about it because it's benign, but it's kind of ugly! Dermatofibromas are also called Benign Fibrous Histiocytomas.
