Here are some tips to get the most from your wedding day appointment at the salon.

Trial Tips:

Be sure to have a trial hairstyle and makeup done one month before your wedding.

Consult with your makeup artist and hair stylist about the look you want. Bring pictures so it is very clear what you want.

Take your veil with you to the trial along with any hairstyle pictures and makeup ideas. By doing a trial, you will save time. Your hairstylist and makeup artist will know exactly what to do on your wedding day.

Wedding Day Tips:

Arrive at the salon on time or a little early. The schedule is usually booked tight to get everyone ready and out on time.

Have each person check in at the desk and find out who is doing their hair and their makeup and the times. This helps keep everyone organized and on time.

Be sure to wear a button down shirt or zippered sweatshirt to the salon on wedding day. A bride may have to cut her T shirt off at home to avoid wrecking her hair and makeup!

A formal hairstyle and veil attachment will take about an hour. Bridesmaid formal hairstyles will take 45 minutes to an hour.

Makeup will take 45 minutes to an hour depending on the details such as, if you want to add individual lash flairs, strip lashes. It will take even longer for tattoo coverage.

Don't forget your camera! It's always fun to have some getting ready pics.

White Bumps Under Eyes: Milia

Have you noticed that you have little white looking bumps under your eyes? Some people call it chicken skin because the bumps look like plucked chicken skin. 🐔 Most likely those little white bumps are milia. They can feel hard or pearly. These bumps are not acne. Milia can occur when dead skin cells become trapped beneath the outer layer of skin. Keratin becomes trapped and builds up. A small benign cyst can form which is the milia. It's a cyst!?!
