Facial Waxing and Makeup Adhesion

Plan your facial waxing carefully or you may have trouble with makeup adhesion for your party or special event.  You would think it's a good idea to have your lip and brow waxing done right before your event so you look nice and hair free.  Think again!  Makeup may slide right off freshly waxed skin! Dead skin cells are exfoliated when the wax is pulled off during the hair removal leaving the skin super smooth.  Your f oundation and eye makeup  may not stick on those smooth freshly waxed areas on your face such as your upper lip, chin or brows.  I have had it happen when applying prom makeup.  The prom girl shows up with a freshly upper lip and foundation just slides right off leaving a weird looking shiny spot.  Remedy for makeup not sticking to freshly waxed skin It takes a bit of my favorite eye shadow primer (Urban Decay Primer Potion), foundation, powder and a light touch to get it to stick. How to wear Accent Lashes

Q. What are accent lashes? A. Accent lashes are partial strip lashes that attach to the outer ends of your eyes to give you a flirty winged look.  Apply them with lash glue to the skin right at your lash line.  Use a dark colored matte eye shadow to line your eye hiding the strip of the lashes.  Blend the accent lashes with your natural lashes with mascara. There. That was easy eyelash drama!            Have a Beautiful Day!  xo Jill Licensed Cosmetologist,  Esthetician,  Makeup Artist PS: Thanks for using my amazon 💋 As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases at no cost to you. Smashbox Full Exposure Palette

This is the Smashbox Full Exposure Palette. The are colors are beautiful neutrals. The top row is shimmer. The bottom row is matte. The colors on the top and bottom coordinate with each other. This palette remains one of my favorites year after year because I find the colors work well on many people.  I hope they never discontinue it! I am particularly fond of the black, the two taupey  shades  next to the black and the rich warm brown. The black is a soft black.  It is wonderful for using as eye liner! Most of the shimmers are very sheer. Six of them are quite glittery. Most of them give very little color when applied. Just glitter. The one in the middle is frosted. I prefer very pigmented shadows so I like to use the shimmers over the matte shades to give them depth. The 7 matte shades go on velvety smooth and opaque. They are creamy looking not dry and dull looking like some matte shadows can be.  The mattes wear well. I do always apply them over my favorite Urban De
