Did you know that some foods can actually increase your skin's resistance to the UV rays of the sun!
Brightly colored fruits and veggies contain high levels of antioxidant pigments such as lycopene, carotenoids and flavenoids.
These pigments actually help to protect the plants, fruits and veggies from UV rays.
We eat them, we get protective anti-oxidant sun protection.
Food sunscreens!
The more you eat, the more protection you get!
They don't replace topical sunscreens, however. They add extra protection, though.
