Improve the color of your skin by eating your veggies.
It's true.
Research shows that eating foods containing carotenoids (a group of antioxidants) improves skin color and boosts new cell growth. You have probably seen it in babies. You know, they get that cute orange nose when they eat a lot of carrot and sweet potato baby foods.
Of course, we don't want an orange nose, but we do want skin with healthy color. Boost up your consumption of foods containing carotenoids:
sweet potatoes
pumpkin
butternut squash
cantaloupe
mangos
apricots
carrots
tomatoes
yellow, orange and red peppers
Fearing the orange nose? There are also some veggies that are green that contain carotenoids.
Broccoli
swiss chard
collard greens
spinach
Brussels sprouts
and asparagus.
Try my Beta Carotene Special.
Have a Beautiful Day!
