A Summer Wedding at the Salon

The salon was buzzing this past Saturday with a bridal party. It was a large party of thirteen ladies. It went very smoothly. The bride was worried about the weather. She didn't need to worry. It turned out to be a really nice day.

It's always an day exciting when a bride is in the house! The mother of the bride set up a beautiful light breakfast in the purple wedding theme.

The bridesmaids were wearing black with an accent color of purple. Purple seems very popular for weddings lately. Many of the ladies wanted a bit of purple in their makeup as well. They all had amazing lashes! I used Cherry Blooms brush on fiber lash extending system to make them super long and beautiful. Their lips were nude pink with a little shimmer.

It's funny...our comb out capes actually matched the color scheme:) Here are a few pics.

White Bumps Under Eyes: Milia

Have you noticed that you have little white looking bumps under your eyes? Some people call it chicken skin because the bumps look like plucked chicken skin. 🐔 Most likely those little white bumps are milia. They can feel hard or pearly. These bumps are not acne. Milia can occur when dead skin cells become trapped beneath the outer layer of skin. Keratin becomes trapped and builds up. A small benign cyst can form which is the milia. It's a cyst!?! Don't let that word scare you. They are harmless, but unwanted bumps. They can occur on any area of the skin that tends to be on the dry side. They cannot be squeezed out like a blackhead or pimple because they have no opening. A layer of skin covers them. A hole must be created in them using a needle, then they can be extracted out.
