Zoya Naked Manicure

Naked is soooo in right now. The nude look, that is! Zoya now has their take on naked. I am always looking for great products for natural nails during this time of gel polish. That's why I am so excited about Zoya's new Naked Manicure!

The system is designed to conceal damaged, imperfect nails and help them grow stronger and healthier. Vitamin B5/Panthanol, Vitamin E, Red Algae, Ginko, and Sulfur Amino Acid/Protein Complex are the ingredients in it to help the nails become less brittle and strong yet flexible. My clients with nail ridges and stained nails are going to love this product! It looks like a very natural French manicure.

It starts with the Naked Manicure base coat.


 Then, the Perfector. The Perfector comes in 6 shades and uses optical diffusers, keratin fillers, micronized reflective color pigments and micro thin formers to create a beautiful, better than naked nail.  Apply 2 coats of the Perfector.

 Then, the Tip Perfector is applied to the free edge.

 Next, the Satin Seal is applied to create a slight sheen like natural nails have.

 The Naked Manicure Glossy Seal can also be used over the Satin Seal for a shinier finish.

 You don't have to use the Tip Perfector if you don't want a French look. You can layer the colors to create different colors. The Perfectors can be used over full coverage nude colors. The Lavender Perfector is great for hiding orange-y discolorations when using light polish colors.

It makes the natural nails look amazing!

White Bumps Under Eyes: Milia

Have you noticed that you have little white looking bumps under your eyes? Some people call it chicken skin because the bumps look like plucked chicken skin. 🐔 Most likely those little white bumps are milia. They can feel hard or pearly. These bumps are not acne. Milia can occur when dead skin cells become trapped beneath the outer layer of skin. Keratin becomes trapped and builds up. A small benign cyst can form which is the milia. It's a cyst!?! Dermatofibromas

I have this brown bump on my leg that won't go away. What can I do about it? A. It could be a dermatofibroma. I see them often on my leg waxing clients. A dermatofibroma is a tan to brown benign raised bump more common in women than men and occur commonly on the legs. The bump feels hard under the skin and can be itchy, tender and easily irritated. A doctor will tell you not to worry about it because it's benign, but it's kind of ugly! Dermatofibromas are also called Benign Fibrous Histiocytomas.
