Emjoi Micro-Pedi Nano Review

I recently received this Emjoi Micro-Pedi Nano callous remover as a gift.
Emjoi Micro-Pedi Nano Pro
It's the perfect gift for a beauty girl like me who doesn't always wear sensible shoes and tends to neglect her feet! Wearing heels makes the feet build up callous quickly. I have read a few bad reviews on this little gadget saying that it just didn't work so I was anxious to try it.

What is Emjoi Micro-Pedi Nano Callous Remover?

The Emjoi Micro-Pedi Nano callous remover is a battery operated callous remover. It take 2 AA batteries. The is also a plug in version. Neither version is waterproof.

The rollers that remove the callous are made with micro mineral particles that "pulverize" hard calloused skin. It spins 30 times a second. My Emjoi came with 2 blue extra course rollers and a purple extreme coarse flex roller, 2 cone rollers, a manicure kit, a cleaning brush and a travel pouch.

The cone rollers are for removing callous between and under the toes. The manicure kit contains a buffing tool, 3 nail filing bits and a cuticle tool. The silver piece you see is used to attach the tools.

My Emjoi Micro-Pedi Nano Review

My feet were very calloused so I went right for the purple roller and got to work. The purple roller flexes allowing you to put more pressure on the callous without hurting the surrounding skin.

It is to be used on clean dry feet. Use a light tough. It isn't super powerful, but has enough kick to get the job done. If you press it down, it will bog down, but that could be a safety feature to help prevent over sanding.

Keep it in one place for only 2-3 seconds. Rotate it back and forth or side to side. I thought it would feel really rough or create too much heat from friction on my feet but it didn't. I thought it worked beautifully! Here is a before and after pic.

My heel looks red in the after pic due to the friction and stimulation to the skin. It was back to normal within 30 minutes. My feet felt super smooth and using the Emjoi was a lot less work than using a foot file.

It did take some time though. I would say I spent about 10 minutes on each foot. My feet were pretty terrible. I don't know why people are saying it didn't work in some reviews. I put together a little youtube video so you can see it in action.

It creates a lot of dust so be sure to use it in a place where you can easily clean up.

Using it over the bathtub would be the perfect place. You can just rinse away the dust when you are finished. The rollers wear out and need to be replaced. They say the rollers last a few sessions.

I give the Emjoi Micro-Pedi Nano the thumbs up! It worked well for me and I plan on using it once a week to keep my callouses smooth.

Shopping info
The Nano costs $14.95 on the Emjoi site and $9.95 for 2 replacment rollers. Do some shopping around. The prices vary. You can purchase an Emjoi and it's accessories from QVC,  micro-pedi.com, and on Amazon. I find Amazon always has great prices.

Please Note: Don't try to remove every bit of callous from your feet. Callouses build up to protect your feet from pressure and friction. If you sand them off completely, your feet will hurt and the body will quickly build up more callous to protect that sore skin. Just reduce your callouses and keep them smooth and moisturized.

White Bumps Under Eyes: Milia

Have you noticed that you have little white looking bumps under your eyes? Some people call it chicken skin because the bumps look like plucked chicken skin. 🐔 Most likely those little white bumps are milia. They can feel hard or pearly. These bumps are not acne. Milia can occur when dead skin cells become trapped beneath the outer layer of skin. Keratin becomes trapped and builds up. A small benign cyst can form which is the milia. It's a cyst!?! Don't let that word scare you. They are harmless, but unwanted bumps.  They can occur on any area of the skin that tends to be on the dry side. They cannot be squeezed out like a blackhead or pimple because they have no opening. A layer of skin covers them. A hole must be created in them using a needle, then they can be extracted out. Read more about blackhead, whiteheads and blind pimples This is a common problem for the under-eye area. It is a dry, delicate area of the skin. I see it a lot on my clients. Heavy products

Dermatofibromas

This post is all about dermatofibromas and some remedies to help make them look better and ways hide them. It includes my Amazon Affiliate Links to help you find the products I talk about. Q. I have this brown bump on my leg that won't go away. What can I do about it? A. It could be a dermatofibroma. I see them often on my leg waxing clients. A dermatofibroma is a tan to brown benign raised bump more common in women than men and occur commonly on the legs. The bump feels hard under the skin and can be itchy, tender and easily irritated. A doctor will tell you not to worry about it because it's benign, but it's kind of ugly! Dermatofibromas are also called Benign Fibrous Histiocytomas. They are the result of some sort of injury to the skin such as an ingrown hair or a bug bite.  Be careful when shaving because a dermatofibroma may bleed and become sore if nicked. Don't think you can get rid of it by shaving it off. It will be an awful looking sore and will j
