Too Faced Better Than False Lashes Extreme Review

I was a big fan of the original Too Faced Better Than False Lashes mascara even though many of you were not.

It was definitely tricky to work with. The big problem with it was the stickiness. Many of you said that your top and bottom lashes would stick together. But, the stickiness is what made it stretch, pulling the nylon fibers to ridiculous lengths. You also said that your lashes looked fuzzy and would easily clump. Yes, but again, it was tricky to work with and a bit time consuming to get it to look good.

So, Too Faced says they improved the formula, brush and fibers. They added the word Extreme to their Too Faced Better Than False Lashes.

They claim the new formula is fast drying and is not sticky. Let's give it a go!

The application process is the same as it was.

Step 1: Apply a coat of Activating Mascara Base and Top Coat to the top lashes. Apply a nice even coat. Be fairly generous with it. Try to keep the lashes as separated as possible during application. Also, direct the lashes carefully where you want them to be.

Step 2: Apply the nylon lash fibers. They are white fibers. Apply them from mid lash to the lash tips, concentrating on the tips. The fibers stick to the mascara. Do a nice even layer.

Step 3: Apply another coat of the Activating Mascara Base and Top Coat. Take your time and keep this layer on the thin side. Coat the fibers and work them out to the ends of your lashes.

Well, the new formula is certainly different. It is not sticky and does dry faster. It is also easier to remove. It's waaaay easier to work with. The brush is not dramatically different for me. Also, the fibers are not dramatically different for me although, they do seem to blend into the mascara easier.

The problem for me is the mascara doesn't stretch and create the ridiculous lashes it used to. Sometimes I would actually pull off extra long fibers because they were so crazy long. I can't achieve that with this mascara. I'm quite disappointed with it.

The other thing the old formula did for me was it stayed really black all day. I have trouble with mascaras fading as the day goes on. It's weird. Does anyone else have that problem?

Better than False lashes is like any other mascara to me now. I would like them to bring back the old formula! There is no other mascara, that I have found, like it. Call me crazy, I like a sticky challenging mascara that creates long lashes!

Don't get me wrong. The new formula is a nice mascara and I have read many good reviews. If you didn't like the old formula, you will probably like the new formula. Also, if you never used a fiber lash extension system, you will probably like Too Faced Better Than False Lashes Extreme.

Here are comparison photos for you. The first photo is the original Too Faced Better Than False Lashes. The second photo is Too Faced Better than False Lashes Extreme.

Only the new extreme formula is available in stores and on amazon.

You can also try Cherry Blooms Fiber Eyelash Extensions. I find they work well and I like the black fibers. Then, there is Mia Adora 3D Fiber Mascara with it's green tea micro lash extensions. I haven't tried the Mia Adora yet. It's a great price and I like the green tea idea!

As always, I will keep trying more mascaras searching for that perfect one!

White Bumps Under Eyes: Milia

Have you noticed that you have little white looking bumps under your eyes? Some people call it chicken skin because the bumps look like plucked chicken skin. 🐔 Most likely those little white bumps are milia. They can feel hard or pearly. These bumps are not acne. Milia can occur when dead skin cells become trapped beneath the outer layer of skin. Keratin becomes trapped and builds up. A small benign cyst can form which is the milia. It's a cyst!?! Don't let that word scare you. They are harmless, but unwanted bumps.  They can occur on any area of the skin that tends to be on the dry side. They cannot be squeezed out like a blackhead or pimple because they have no opening. A layer of skin covers them. A hole must be created in them using a needle, then they can be extracted out. Read more about blackhead, whiteheads and blind pimples This is a common problem for the under-eye area. It is a dry, delicate area of the skin. I see it a lot on my clients. Heavy products

Dermatofibromas

This post is all about dermatofibromas and some remedies to help make them look better and ways hide them. It includes my Amazon Affiliate Links to help you find the products I talk about. Q. I have this brown bump on my leg that won't go away. What can I do about it? A. It could be a dermatofibroma. I see them often on my leg waxing clients. A dermatofibroma is a tan to brown benign raised bump more common in women than men and occur commonly on the legs. The bump feels hard under the skin and can be itchy, tender and easily irritated. A doctor will tell you not to worry about it because it's benign, but it's kind of ugly! Dermatofibromas are also called Benign Fibrous Histiocytomas. They are the result of some sort of injury to the skin such as an ingrown hair or a bug bite.  Be careful when shaving because a dermatofibroma may bleed and become sore if nicked. Don't think you can get rid of it by shaving it off. It will be an awful looking sore and will j
