Zoya Petals Spring 2016

Zoya gives us a beautiful soft collection of nail polish colors this spring. The collection is Petals. I can see the Pantone Color of the Year influence! Leia is a sheer opalescent white. It has flecks of fuchsia, green and gold. It looks very shimmery pink on me. This color fits right in with the trend of wearing a sheer glittery nail color. It would also look beautiful on top of a color. Aster  is a periwinkle with flecks of fuchsia. Azalea is a medium fuchsia pink with fuchsia and white shimmer. Zahara is bright shimmery coral with a bit of opalescence. Tulip is a creamy pink salmon with a barely there shimmer. Laurel   is a creamy warm pastel pink with a barely there shimmer.  They are beautiful colors. Perfect for spring and summer too! You can find them for $10 each in salons, at zoya.com and Amazon. How tame hair static

Hello friends! Is your hair acting wild and crazy like mine?  The calendar says it's spring but my dry staticky hair says it still feels like winter. We need a little humidity. Just a little. Find it in salons and on Amazon. Find shaving brushes in the shaving cream section at your favorite drug store or super store. Conditioner Always use a good conditioner at every shampoo. Well hydrated hair will be less fly away. You can also try a leave in conditioner. A leave in conditioner leaves moisturizers on t...

Rose Lipstick: Urban Decay Lipstick Review & Application

I've been looking for the perfect shade of rose lipstick for some time now. A cross between a pink and a red. I don't know why it's been so hard for me to find. I find a lipstick color I think would be it but it turns out to be too fuchsia, too red or even too coral. I found one that is almost perfect. I say almost because it turns a little more red on me than I want it to. It's Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in  Catfight . Urban Decay describes it as a pink-fuchsia with slight red undertone. Here is is on my daughter. It seems to look great on different skin tones. It works well for me with my medium beige skin, but I think it looks even better on my daughter's pale creamy skin! Alternative colors to UD Catfight Urban Decay Lipstick Revolution has been changed to Urban Decay Vice Lipstick. Catfight has been discontinued 😞but Alpha, Anarchy, Menace and Big Bang are also beautiful shades of rose. I put together a little video review to let you know what ...
