Urban Dacay Naked Eyeshadow Palettes

If you haven't heard, Urban Decay makes fabulous eye shadow palettes! One of their shadow palette collections is called the Naked Eyeshadow Collection. There 4 Urban Decay Naked palettes with 12 shades of neutral shadow colors packaged in a box with a mirror that resembles a watercolor paint box and a really great eyeshadow brush. Sooo fun!

Each palette has it's distinctive theme of neutral, nicely pigmented shades that blend easily and last all day. There are also Naked Basics eyeshadow palettes. We'll talk about them another day. Today is about the 4 Naked Palettes with 12 eyeshadow shades and what makes them different. Let's compare them!

The Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palettes

The Naked Eyeshadow Palette

The first palette in the Naked collection is simply called Naked Eyeshadow Palette. It has a warm bronzy cast to gives you a warm summery glow. The shadows have a variety of finishes: matte, satin, shimmer and glitter. This palette works especially great with warm skin tones and helps to make blue eyes pop. It contains my favorite shimmery beige color Sin.

The shades are:
Virgin (cool pale beige shimmer), Sin (champagne shimmer), Naked (nude matte), Sidecar (beige shimmer w/silver micro-glitter), Buck (fawn brown matte), Half Baked (golden bronze shimmer), Smog (deep coppery bronze shimmer), Darkhorse (deep mocha shimmer), Toasted (antique copper penny shimmer), Hustle (plum-brown satin), Creep (onyx shimmer w/gold sparkle) and Gunmetal (dark metallic gray shimmer w/silver micro-glitter).

The Naked 2 Eyeshadow Collection

The shades are:
Foxy (cream bisque matte), Half Baked (golden bronze shimmer), Bootycall (cork shimmer), Chopper (copper shimmer w/silver micro-glitter), Tease (creamy pale brown matte), Snakebite (dark bronze shimmer), Suspect (pale golden beige shimmer), Pistol (light grayish brown shimmer), Verve (oyster shimmer), YDK (cool bronze shimmer), Busted (deep brown shimmer) and Blackout (blackest black matte).

The Naked 3 Eyeshadow Collection

Naked 3 has a rosy cast to it. From lovely pale pink to an interesting smoky matte black that has a red shimmer in it with some peachy pink and coppery pink colors in between. This palette works especially well with cool skin tones and helps make green and hazel eyes pop. I'm in love with the peachy pink Burnout.

The shades are:
Strange (pale neutral pink matte-satin), Dust (pale metallic pink shimmer w/iridescent micro-glitter), Burnout (light pinky-peach satin), Limit (light dusty rose matte), Buzz (metallic rose shimmer w/silver micro-glitter), Trick (light metallic pinky-copper shimmer w/tonal micro-sparkle), Nooner (medium pinky-brown matte), Liar (medium metallic mauve shimmer), Factory (pinky-brown satin), Mugshot (metallic taupe shimmer w/slight pink shift), Darkside (deep taupe-mauve satin) and Darkheart (smoky black matte w/rosy red micro-sparkle).

The Naked Smoky Palette

High (champagne shimmer w/micro-glitter), Dirtysweet (medium bronze), Radar (metallic taupe w/iridescent micro-glitter), Armor (metallic silver-taupe w/tonal sparkle), Slanted (light metallic gray), Dagger (medium charcoal w/micro-shimmer), Black Market (jet-black satin), Smolder (deep plum-taupe), Password (cool taupe matte), Whiskey (rich brown matte), Combust (soft pink-taupe) and Thirteen (light beige satin).

Honestly, they're all are great!  It's hard to choose just one palette.  Consider your skin tone, eye color and the look you want to create to help you make your choice or you can buy them one buy one, like some people I know!!!

Here's a tip to make your eyeshadow last longer, with no fading or creasing, always apply Urban Decay Primer Potion before you apply your eyeshadow. You're going to love it!

White Bumps Under Eyes: Milia

Have you noticed that you have little white looking bumps under your eyes? Some people call it chicken skin because the bumps look like plucked chicken skin. 🐔 Most likely those little white bumps are milia. They can feel hard or pearly. These bumps are not acne. Milia can occur when dead skin cells become trapped beneath the outer layer of skin. Keratin becomes trapped and builds up. A small benign cyst can form which is the milia. It's a cyst!?! Don't let that word scare you. They are harmless, but unwanted bumps.  They can occur on any area of the skin that tends to be on the dry side. They cannot be squeezed out like a blackhead or pimple because they have no opening. A layer of skin covers them. A hole must be created in them using a needle, then they can be extracted out. Read more about blackhead, whiteheads and blind pimples This is a common problem for the under-eye area. It is a dry, delicate area of the skin. I see it a lot on my clients. Heavy products

Dermatofibromas

This post is all about dermatofibromas and some remedies to help make them look better and ways hide them. It includes my Amazon Affiliate Links to help you find the products I talk about. Q. I have this brown bump on my leg that won't go away. What can I do about it? A. It could be a dermatofibroma. I see them often on my leg waxing clients. A dermatofibroma is a tan to brown benign raised bump more common in women than men and occur commonly on the legs. The bump feels hard under the skin and can be itchy, tender and easily irritated. A doctor will tell you not to worry about it because it's benign, but it's kind of ugly! Dermatofibromas are also called Benign Fibrous Histiocytomas. They are the result of some sort of injury to the skin such as an ingrown hair or a bug bite.  Be careful when shaving because a dermatofibroma may bleed and become sore if nicked. Don't think you can get rid of it by shaving it off. It will be an awful looking sore and will j
