Zoya Wanderlust Nail Polish Collection Summer 2017

Have you seen the summer nail polish collection from Zoya? It's gorgeous! I wasn't sure about the greens. I'm not really a green nail polish person, but the 2 greens in this collection aren't so bad for me.  

 There's a mix of 8 full coverage creams and 4 shimmers, warms and cools. Some apply better than others. All are bright happy colors for summer. I know my clients are going to love them. In fact, I unpacked the box and used Winnie on Donna right away!

Let's go through them one by one.
Zoya Byrdie
Byrdie
   Byrdie is a fushcia cream. It has opaque full coverage that goes on smooth and easy. This is one of my favorites!

Mandy
Mandy is a shimmering berry pink. It is slightly sheer on the first coat and goes on beautifully.

Winnie is a soft watermelon pink cream. It has opaque full coverage. It's one of those challenging application polishes because the consistency is on the thick side and the first coat goes on a bit streaky. The second coat makes the coverage smooth and even.

Etsy is rich bubble gum pink. It is an opaque full coverage cream. It has a thick consistency but goes on without streaking. Perfect name for me since I recently opened an Etsy Shop!!!

Lois is violet cream. It has opaque full coverage and goes on smooth and easy.

River is a shimmering cobalt blue. The first coat goes on a bit sheer and uneven but smooths out nicely with the second coat.

Sonia is a summery red cream. It has opaque full coverage. The first coat goes on slightly streaky but smooths out easily with the second coat.

Journey is a shimmering strawberry red. It goes on beautifully and has a nice glow to it. Another favorite for me.

Cora
Cora is a coral cream. It has full opaque coverage. The first coat goes on slightly streaky but smooths out with the second coat.
zoya sawyer
Sawyer
Sawyer is light orange cream. It has opaque full coverage. It's another one of those challenging application polishes because the consistency is on the thick side and the first coat goes on a quite streaky. The second coat makes the coverage smoother but not as perfect as I like it to be. A third coat would make it way to thick. This one is my least favorite due to the application struggle.

Scout
Scout is a shimmering mossy green. The first coat goes on sheer and smooth. The second coat adds more shimmering rich color. Not my favorite color but it's growing on me!
zoya arbor
Arbor
Arbor is a rich olive green. It has opaque full coverage and goes on smooth and easy. The coverage is so nice with the first coat, you could probably get away with just one coat if you wanted to. I actually would wear this green, with the right outfit.
 Zoya polish is vegan and 10 free, which means it's free of the ingredients formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, dibutyl phthalate, toluene, camphor, TPHP, parabens, xylene, ethyl tosylamide and lead. It's our favorite nail polish brand at the salon because it wears so well on natural nails.

White Bumps Under Eyes: Milia

Have you noticed that you have little white looking bumps under your eyes? Some people call it chicken skin because the bumps look like plucked chicken skin. 🐔 Most likely those little white bumps are milia. They can feel hard or pearly. These bumps are not acne. Milia can occur when dead skin cells become trapped beneath the outer layer of skin. Keratin becomes trapped and builds up. A small benign cyst can form which is the milia. It's a cyst!?! Dermatofibromas

I have this brown bump on my leg that won't go away. What can I do about it? A. It could be a dermatofibroma. I see them often on my leg waxing clients. A dermatofibroma is a tan to brown benign raised bump more common in women than men and occur commonly on the legs. The bump feels hard under the skin and can be itchy, tender and easily irritated.
