Summer Nail Colors: Zoya Sunshine Collection Summer 2018 Swatches & Review

The Zoya summer nail colors are here! Sunshine is a bright and sunny collection just as the name suggests. If you like red and pink nail colors, you will love this collection. Most of the colors in are in the red color family: pinks, reds and corals. There are 2 glitters, 2 shimmers and 8 creams. This collection has been very popular at the salon. The favorites are Sandy, Ellie, Karen, Marigold, Virginia, Marigold and Clementine.

The two glitters are toppers. They are sheer glitter topper colors called Unicorn Kisses.

The glitter pieces in these polishes are large, medium and small to create a holographic effect. Saldana is the blue, Nahla is the gold. They are very sheer but they will build up with more coats to create a magical metallic look especially on top of any color.

 Besides, the toppers and one of the shimmers, the colors are opaque and give full coverage with two coats. Clementine needs a third coat to create an opaque finish.

Saldana
Saldana is a glittery light blue Unicorn Kisses sheer topper with blue and pink glitter. I'm not crazy over the large glitter pieces in this polish. I think they look chunky and stand out too much for me.

Nahla 
Nahla is a glittery gold Unicorn Kisses sheer topper. I love the glitzy shine this one has! And for some reason, the larger glitter pieces don't bother me in this polish. I guess they blend in more.

Delia 
Delia is a lavender cream that is very smooth and easy to apply. It's a beauty!

Missy
Missy is a medium bright bubble gum pink cream. The slight streaks on the first coat will cover with the second coat.

Sandy
Sandy is a medium bluey
flamingo pink cream. Bright and pretty!

Ellie
Ellie is a raspberry cream. Gorgeous! This is one of my favorites.

Karen 
Karen is a bright coral red cream. It goes on smooth and glossy.

Marigold
Marigold is a bright red orange with a gold micro shimmer. I love the depth the micro shimmer creates in this color!

Virginia 
Virginia is a coral cream. I think this color will be a big hit at the salon this summer!

Minnie
Minnie is a bright medium peachy pink cream. There is some streaking on the first coat that disappears on the second coat.

Clementine
Clementine is a peach with a pink and orange micro shimmer. It looks beautiful on many different skin tones. This soft shade is the client favorite!

Jack
Jack is a light warm nude cream. It's very opaque and steaks a bit on the first coat but the streaks cover with the second coat. I really like the way the Unicorn Kisses toppers look over this color.

Now for a little fun with the Unicorn Kisses colors. You know I love my shimmer!

2 coats of Jack topped with 4 coats of Nahla create an awesome bright gold metallic that absolutely glows!!! Look how amazing this combination looks!

Delia and Saldana

2 coats of Delia topped with 4 coats of Saldana create a magical glowing purple with shifting shades of pink and blue!!! It looks completely magical on the beach!

Sunshine a beautiful collection for summer! You can go wrong with any of these colors. They are all gorgeous!

White Bumps Under Eyes: Milia

Have you noticed that you have little white looking bumps under your eyes? Some people call it chicken skin because the bumps look like plucked chicken skin. 🐔 Most likely those little white bumps are milia. They can feel hard or pearly. These bumps are not acne. Milia can occur when dead skin cells become trapped beneath the outer layer of skin. Keratin becomes trapped and builds up. A small benign cyst can form which is the milia. It's a cyst!?! Dermatofibromas

I have this brown bump on my leg that won't go away. What can I do about it? A. It could be a dermatofibroma. I see them often on my leg waxing clients. A dermatofibroma is a tan to brown benign raised bump more common in women than men and occur commonly on the legs. The bump feels hard under the skin and can be itchy, tender and easily irritated. A doctor will tell you not to worry about it because it's benign, but it's kind of ugly! Dermatofibromas are also called Benign Fibrous Histiocytomas.
